I was born in 1983 in Treviso, Italy, and discovered photography 14 years later. In 2009 a friend of mine asked me to collaborate on a project as a photographer and after that I started working for local newspapers and magazines, as well as for a few weddings. I started feeling that it was not enough. I wanted more and felt the keen need to learn more, not so much the technical knowledge – my IT skills had been helping me a lot – but more about the emotional part of my photography, which I still couldn’t work out. I left my job and my country to start a new journey, which brought me to study photography at the Neue Schule für Fotografie in Berlin (2013).
At 34, I am an insatiable traveler, captivated by light, with people and with how they behave. I am inspired by how we convey our energy, pursue our passions, how we function in a group and as individuals. I love to capture how people live life’s most beautiful moments or react when facing their deepest fears.
